RBS staff raise funds for the ALF

Article by Ryan Brown

YOU can bank on the staff at RBS to be generous – as they hand over a cheque to the Aaron Lewis Foundation.

Workers at the Royal Bank of Scotland’s offices in Southend held a range of fundraising activities in 2017 including a tombola, dress down day and cake and sweet sale.

Laura Dolman, from RBS, said: “We also put the charity forward for a Give As You Earn one-off donation from the bank and it was successful.”

In all, the RBS staff members raised £1,645 for the ALF and trustee Helen Lewis, Lt Aaron’s mum, was recently handed a cheque.

She said: “I was delighted to accept this donation on behalf of the ALF and we are all extremely grateful for RBS and its staff for generating this amazing sum. We’ll make sure it is put to good use.”
